The Dark Knight Rises
In Entertainment Weekly's upcoming preview of the film, director Christopher Nolan confirms the movie will return to the Batcave, and the decision made by Batman and Commissioner Gordon at the end of The Dark Knight to pin Two-Face's crimes on Batman will have serious repercussions throughout the film. He also reassures everyone that Bane will be easier to understand in the full context of the film, apparently in both the vocal and thematic senses:"I think when people see the film, things will come into focus. Bane is very complex and very interesting and when people see the finished film people will be very entertained by him."
Iron Man 3
Robert Downey, Jr. talks up the next Iron Man movie as a return to what made the first Iron Man so successful, and improve upon it:"I think that we have an opportunity with the third Iron Man to make the best of the three, and maybe one of the better superhero movies that's ever been made. But I think we have to remember what made the first one good. It was very character-driven. It was very odd. It was kind of outrageous. And so I think we have to have the courage to trust that the audience is really kind of cool, and smart."[Collider]
Thor 2
Jaime Alexander says she hopes to return as Sif, and that the movie will deal to some degree with the character's romance with Thor:"I'm a comic book nerd at heart, so I'd like to see the relationship between Thor and Sif progress. Whether or not they do that, we're not sure yet. We'll see. I think that element will be in there, but I don't know how much. We just got Alan Taylor from 'Game of Thrones' to direct, so I'm very excited. I'm excited to see what he brings. ['Game of Thrones'] is great. The style and the lighting and the tone of it, everything about it is so unlike anything you see on TV these days. He's got a great history of directing comedic bits and action bits, and that's something our movie definitely has."If the movie does indeed pursue Thor and Sif's relationship - something the first movie only really obliquely hinted at - then that could prove a rather interesting complication for Thor's eventual reunion with Natalie Portman's Jane Foster. The Avengers
Alexander also refused to completely rule out an appearance in The Avengers. It sounds like she was talking purely hypothetically, but it would appear a post-credits appearance isn't completely out of the question:"I can't tell you. Sometimes you never know. It'll be funny — they'll call you and they'll do a post-credits scene and you go, 'Oh, so everything I said in interviews is completely wrong.' So you never know!"[MTV News Page]
