Who He? Making his way up from micro-budget films shot on weekends (like Following), Nolan has since soared to the heights of Hollywood success, with two Batman films, Insomnia, The Prestige and Memento to his name. His Dark Knight was a storming success and he's back to confuse us all this summer with Inception.

Why He? Can you imagine him bringing his grounded style to Spider-Man? We doubt he'd push it as far as he did with Bruce Wayne (you've got to keep those superpowers, after all), but we'd kill to see his sensibility merged with Peter Parker's story. And after the jaw-dropping visuals in the Inception trailer, we think he could make an amazing Spider-Movie.
