Hair today: Vanessa Hudgens reveals new golden locks are just a wig as she is seen transforming from brunette to blonde

  She set tongues wagging when she stepped out sporting honey blonde locks on set of Spring Breakers yesterday.
But Vanessa Hudgens hasn't left the dark side behind just yet.
The 23-year-old actress showed how she achieved the look when she was spotted entering a trailer with brunette tresses and emerging a while later with golden hair.

It seems that instead of committing to the dye bottle, Vanessa is simply slipping on a wig each day to film scenes for the upcoming movie.
She was seen showing off her new locks as she made her way to set yesterday for the first day of filming.

The star debuted the look as she walked to work in Sacramento, Florida.

Vanessa was joined by her co-stars Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson, and Rachel Korine and the foursome looked as though they had just rolled out of bed as they all donned comfortable clothing for their early start.
The High School musical star was dressed in a grey hooded jumper and black tracksuit bottoms, along with black flip flops.
She chatted away to 19-year-old Selena, who wore a white patterned knitted cardigan, black tracksuit bottoms and grey slipper boots as they strolled side by side.

The group looked a little tired as they prepared to get down to some serious work after enjoying a few days of fun in the Florida sun during rehearsals.
Vanessa and Ashley spent a day together at Busch Gardens Amusement Park in Tampa over the weekend, where they enjoyed the roller coasters and water rides.

The drama film, which also stars James Franco, tells the story of four college girls who take part in a robbery in order to fund their Spring Break holiday.
Beauty and the Beast star Vanessa has said that she is not as wild as her character Candy, who is 'the crazy party girl' of the group.
'I'm certainly not one who is going to rob a bank,' she told E! Online. 'But there is a part of me that loves smashing things and I get to do that.'

‘There should be a natural chemistry with the girls…it’s great that Selena, Vanessa and Ashley are all friends. This film is just magic.’
