 She's had a difficult time of it recently after her role in Adam Sandler's Jack and Jill was critically panned and her TV show The Kennedys was slammed for being historically inaccurate.
And with no projects in the pipelines, it seems the stress of being an actress is taking its toll on Katie Holmes.
The 33-year-old actress was seen out and about yesterday sporting several grey hairs in her otherwise dark brunette locks.

Wearing no make-up, the mother-of-one looked casual in a loose blue shirt and wide-leg black trousers with a pair of flat shoes.
Katie is a keen dancer and has been seen attending various dance classes in Hollywood over the past few months.
But the actress may have to find a new class soon, as it was recently reported that she and her five-year-old daughter Suri will soon be heading to Louisiana to join her husband Tom Cruise on the set of his latest movie.
Production on the untitled action thriller with sci-fi elements will take place in Baton Rouge and New Orleans starting later this month, according to the Associated Press.
However, it remains to be seen exactly what project Katie will be making her acting comeback with.
She will no doubt be hoping to put Jack and Jill, which won 12 Razzie awards at the recent ceremony, behind her with a new role.
Katie was praised for her part as the 'slutty pumpkin' in hit US TV show How I Met Your Mother last year, so perhaps a recurring part on the programme could be next on the cards.
